My Journey

👩‍💻 Computer Systems Teaching Assistant 👩‍💻

Swarthmore College , Jan '23 - Present

Provides assistance in Intro to Computer Systems, concentrating on C programming and parallel & distributed computing, as well as Intro to Computer Science, focusing on Python and fundamental programming skills.

💻 Differential Privacy Researcher 💻

Swarthmore College , Sep '24 - Present

Collaborating with AT&T and a partner university under Professor Vasanta Chaganti to design and assess differential privacy algorithms for mobile user trajectory data.

📑 Database Development Intern 📑

Webstaurant Store , Summer '24

Member of the pioneering team tasked with integrating PostgreSQL, a departure from the company's usual SQLServer environment. My contributions included leveraging PostgreSQL to optimize data management, planning database infrastructure, and addressing operational needs for PNC Bank.

🌐 Software Development Intern 🌐

DoCurious Inc , Summer '23

As a SWE Intern at a startup company, I helped develop the foundational ServerAPI solution, wearing many hats to meet diverse challenges. I assisted with endpoint and service testing, as well as system enhancement and troubleshooting. Additionally, I developed a web app utilizing the ChatGPT API to create a natural language summarization tool, which directly integrated with the DoCurious database.

Extracurriculars

When I'm not in class, you can catch me participating in these organizations and activities

Treasurer - $2,250 Budget

Our club provides a welcoming space for people of gender marginalized identities interested in math and stats. I manage the budget, assessing over three funding requests per week in order to assign monetary values to upcoming events and needs. I also help plan the logistics and come up with event ideas! Our most recent project was a colloquium, featuring gender minority professors from Swarthmore's math department.

Work 1

Leadership Team - Project Lead

GDSC is dedicated to creating impactful software for our local community. Together, our leadership team focuses on member support, development, and effective teamwork. Additionally, as a project lead, I spearhead the design and implementation of Swat Rideshare. In this role, I work together with developers to oversee project timelines and ensure the successful delivery of a user-friendly ridesharing application tailored to our campus needs.

Work 2

Resident Assistant - Mertz Hall

The RA team at Swarthmore College works hard to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive living environment for all residents. I'm currently a Resident Assistant in Mertz Hall, responsible for encouraging community engagement and ensuring student well-being. Some of my key responsibilities include event planning and execution, community building, resident support and development, policy enforcement, and administrative duties.
